The Transpired Solar Collector (TSC) has been used successfully worldwide over the past three decades and has shown to achieve an economic payback of 2 to 10 years. Thıs ıs a result of a combination of high thermal efficiency and the low cost of the solar collector. In order to meet energy-saving trends, legislation for fresh air supply in buildings, heat recovery systems have been used to transfer the heat of the exhaust air ınto the fresh airstream. In this research, optimisatıon procedure is carried out for both the transıred solar collector and the heat recovery unit, when a reference building with the same needs is situated in locations with different climate (Hamburg, Budapest, Malaga, Helsinki, Bilbao, and Erzurum).
